The SmartRack 16 is a feature-rich rack drawer with a built-in, integrated 16 port KVM switch. The integration of a CAT5 KVM switch with a rack drawer console provides a unique combination of on-screen server management and at-the-rack control.

The integrated switch/rack drawer uses just a single U, saving you valuable rack space. The adjustable dual rail rack drawer allows users to monitor servers on the 17” LCD screen even when the rack door is closed.

The 16 port KVM switch supports multiple platforms (PS/2, SUN, USB). You can control up to 16 servers with the built-in switch and up to 256 servers by cascading it with the Smart CAT5 8/16 Switch. Sophisticated control options provide multi-layer security.

CAT5 technology at your servers
|
CAT5 KVM technology eliminates the need for bulky KVM cables and allows for greater flexibility in cable lengths. Less cable means better ventilation in the rack. Servers can be controlled at distances up to 10m/33ft from the switch, even on neighboring racks.
