If your Smart 116 IP Switch System works properly you shouldn't update its firmware. You may need to reboot your computers after firmware upgrade.
 
Smart 116 IP Switch Software supports 32-bit Windows only. Currently there is no intention to support other operating systems.

Download Smart 116 IP Switch Update software version 1.2 for performing flash upgrade to Smart 116 IP Switch and RoC/RICC units.


Smart 116 IP Switch Firmware

Click on Firmware Version number to download the firmware files. The downloaded file archived in zip format. Unzip it to temporary folder. You will see a firmware package file which includes all relevant firmware files for all Smart 116 IP Switch components. Please refer to user guide or software on-line help for more information on upgrading the Smart 116 IP Switch units.

Includes firmware upgrade for Smart 116 IP Switch p/n 1SU60005 units.

- Phase1 firmware upgrade.
All upgrades from firmware versions 3.0.1.x to firmware version 3.0.2.x and higher will require Phase 1 upgrade before upgrading to the device specific firmware.
This firmware must be used for Smart 116 IP units prior to firmware version 3.0.2.42. First, upgrade the Smart 116 IP unit to Phase1 firmware, reboot the unit and then upgrade the unit to the latest Smart 116 IP firmware.

Updating the Web Interface firmware:
Save the firmware file on the client system. Unzip the file to temporary folder.
    To update the Web Interface firmware:
  1. Ensure that power supply of the Smart 116 IP Switch won't be interrupted during the update process.
  2. Log on to Smart 116 IP Switch configuration web page with administrator permissions. (https://{IP Address of Smart 116 IP Switch}/config)
  3. From the menu select Firmware Upgrade. The Firmware Upgrade page appears
  4. Locate and upload the file from your client system. In case of any errors the upload will be aborted.
  5. Verify the current Smart 116 IP Switch firmware and newly uploaded firmware versions.
  6. Press the 'Start Update' button. The Smart 116 IP Switch starts to update the Web Interface firmware.
    Warning! This process is irreversible; ensure the Smart 116 IP Switch power supply won't be interrupted during the update process, as this may cause damage to the unit.
  7. When prompted press 'Reboot' button to reboot Smart 116 IP Switch. One minute later, Smart 116 IP Switch runs with the new firmware. You must login again.
  8. Warning! The unit may lose all user configurations except IP Settings after firmware upgrade and may revert to the factory default settings (Except the network settings which will remain unchanged). Each release contains warning if all user settings would be lost or preserved.


RoC and RICC Firmware Package

RoC and RICC Firmware packages include latest RoCs and RICCs firmware in one convenient for use firmware upgrade package. Just select RoCs/RICCs which should be upgraded, load the firmware package and the Smart 116 IP Switch Upgrade software will extract correct firmware from the package and will upgrade all selected RoC and RICC units. Using the firmware upgrade packages is strongly recommended.

Includes firmware upgrade for RoC PS/2 p/n 1SU51078, RoC USB p/n 1SU51079, RICC PS/2 p/n 1SU51019 and RICC USB p/n 1SU51020 Units.
